"Power-Throw" unit heater type (PTE series): Three models, three sizes from 15 kW through 50 kW. Where there is a requirement for air velocity and heat throw greater than can be provided by cataloged horizontal delivery models, "Power-Throw" unit heaters with their longer horizontal heat throw should be considered. For hard-to-heat areas, such as the vicinity of frequently opened loading dock doors or large warehouses, "Power-Throw" units are frequently an ideal choice. They are equipped with air deflector blades that can be adjusted to lengthen or shorten heat throw as well as to direct heated air either up or down. Due to the higher velocity of discharge air, however, their air streams should not be directed at room occupants. A single "Power-Throw" unit heater can often be used to replace as many as three smaller horizontal delivery units, thereby reducing equipment, installation and maintenance costs.
